I give up gluten and wheat for 2 weeks & consequently ate it again and feel rough.....?
I had a pizza yesterday, the first thing which contained gluten wheat for 2 weeks and almost straight away i had a dodgy stomach trouble going to the loo, tummy pains, tiredness, restlessness and feel like crying. My mum has coeliac disease and im currently waiting for blood test results for this, so i thought i'd try it out and see if my vigour improved which it did. -dont know why i ate the pizza but hey...
rgies are nothing to sneeze at
so i guess you know not to eat it in the future. follow up next to your GI doctor.
I had impossible to tell apart reaction with gluten foods. Especially since it is genetic. You have a 1 contained by 22 chance of getting it. Which means you most likely do. I suffer near Celiac disease and got it from my aunt.
My symptoms include swing moods, headaches, stomach pain, itchy skin, rash, hives, vomiting, numbness in my face, itchy around the mouth and depression. That is just a few of the lovely symptoms that come near having celiac disease. I still have my days, but I have be great though since being gluten free!
If they do come back negative own your self tested for Crohns disease or I.B.S.
If your tests are negative, you can still chomp through a gluten free diet. There is no law anywhere that you have to eat gluten. If you are living next to your mother then it makes it easier since two people will want to be gluten free.
If you test negative, then you could hold a gluten intolerance that hasn't gone far enough to be diagnosed as celiac disease. The process of the gluten destroying the lining of the intestines is not an instantaneous happening. It also doesn't achieve better overnight. So if you feel better not eating gluten then don't devour it. The only drawback is that you won't be an "officially diagnosed" celiac but if you are healthy and quality good, there is nothing wrong near that.
