i have environmental allergies, i was thinking about tea and isnt tea made from plants and stuff so shouldnt i be allergic to it? im adjectives of a sudden scared to drink it

I think that environmental allergies are specific to pollens and certain types of plants. Tea is a plant (Tea-LEAVES) but I own never heard of anyone being allergic to it. If you haven't had a allergic reaction thus far, I wouldn't worry, but if you are worried, keep a food diary of what you eat and drink and the amount of it and if you hold a reaction, you and your allergist can narrow it down to what caused it.
