Allergic to seafood? Or a short time ago a strong dislike?

I can't stand any seafood. I used to be able to eat fish (tuna) and liked shrimp deeply. But gradually I found I couldn't stand the smell or taste of fish. And the last time I ate shrimp, I gag before I could finish it.
ow those who have allergies tend to have hives or other symptoms--but is nausea one of them?
Answers:
The straightforward rule is that if you REALLY love something, or REALLY hate it, you're probably allergic. Allergies can have many different symptoms, including, nausea, diarrhea, abdominal twinge, hyperactivity, hives, headache, throat closing, etc.
Seafood is a common allergen, so if I were you, I would avoid it.
You can develop food sensitivities and allergies at any time in your life span. Avoid it all together for 6 months or so, and try again later if you want to.
some food allergies such as seafood can cause nausea, my dad is allergic to muscles and if he eat them, he just feels really sick for the rest of the night. but it could also basically be that you have a very strong dislike of seafood, i'm the same course. i can't stand the smell or taste of fish or any seafood.
