After a blood transfusion, can environmental allergies worsen?

I ate an apple the other night and about 10 minutes later, I could hear myself wheezing and my eyes watered resembling faucets. I had coughing fits...basically unable to function. Is it possible that the blood transfusion I have in March would increase allergic reactions to, for example, an apple? Could my allergies to Maple, Ash,and Birch trees be worsened?
Answers:     I have to get blood transfusions almost monthly, for about a couple years presently, I've never had allergies and never developed any so I'd say no....but everyone is different so who knows.
Hope that help

it is probably a shock to the system.
