My son is 11 months mature and he have have red puff eyes for something like a month, this AM one be almost swollen shut.?
There are many things that can cause the symptoms you are describing. Allergies, conjunctivitis, ulcers on the cornea, an infection or blockage surrounded by the tear ducts, scratches on his eyes, chicken pox in the eyes, etc. There is no course anyone here can tell what it might be. Your best bet is to take him to the doctor.
There may be something in your trial home that is triggering a reaction. However, all things said, not treating it could potentially head to blindness if it's something serious. Swollen eyes are not normal on anyone regardless of the age. Source(s): critical care nurse
The point of going to the doctors is to see what symptoms you or your children have. Doctors can aid you see what your son might be allergic to and it might not even be an allergy, and something else. I don't think this question is for Yahoo Answers.
NEVER trust your child's health to Yahoo. call the pediatrician.
Yeah dude damn acquire this kid some help seriously don't just sit there and see it get worse
It's conjunctivitis. I suffered for years with this problem as a child. Usually between the ages of 6 and 10 years of age, though.

Do you smoke? Does anyone in the house smoke? Is he near the kitchen when you are cooking?
My parents be opera singers and used to invite theater people to our house for musical evenings. The house was other full of smoke. Maybe this is why I was always a sick kid. Grrr!
So why aren't you at the doctor's department? Why ask here??
i understand.. if u dont want to appropriate him to the doctor, call a pharmcy. they have helped me near all my prob. hope this helps and i hope he feels better : )
This happened to my son. Along near the red puffy eyes he was also more tired and cranky than usual and would say "hurt" and rub his eyes. There was no frenzy or pus or any other symptoms to go along with his red eyes. I took him to the doctor and they prescribed Claritin daily. But since your son is more than a year younger than mine - you will involve to take him to the doctor to see what kind of allergy meds and how much an 11 month old can pocket. My sons allergy was determined to be oak. Our many oak trees were spewing pollen at the time. So, I have to make everyone take shoes off at the door and wipe up his face and hands and change shirts whenever we come in from playing outside. His eyes would get noticeably more swollen and red when we be in the front lawn or park playing "in" the pollen.
tually finished up taking him to a pediatric acupuncturists (after being diagnosed with the allergy) that did 3 "massages" on him and I swear to you he is fine now. It is amazing! I stopped giving him the claritin and he is fine. Once within a while his eyelid gets a little red and that is the solitary symptom left from the allergy. It was called Tuwani squeeze (not sure I spelled that right).
Not sure if your son has the same issue. I don't think that swollen red eyes for over a month is a silly point to go to the doctor. If your pediatrician makes you feel stupid for bringing your sick child to the practice than I don`t know you need to change doctors!
