Why do i enjoy hives? I didn't obtain around anything i'm allergic to?
I woke up this morning with hives, I have had hives several, many times in my life. I know that i'm allergic to penicillin, red pop, and mold, but i haven't been around any of it at all. So i don't know why i would get them. I did only start my first period this morning since i had my baby, i don't know if hormones can motive hives but i haven't been around any of my known allergens so i don't know what it could be. I just want to know if anyone know if hormones or something like it can cause hives, and any relief tips, i'm soo itchy its bothersome.

1. Take an oatmeal bath. (I'm srious, within is mix at the store and it really calms itchy skin. I dont mean the kind of oatmeal you eat)
3. Cold compresses help and so do cold baths! Source(s): Previous experiences
Any change in your system can alter your immunity, so yes hormones can affect you, and so can getting over a cold, or not getting plenty sleep. Drink mineral water or water with some bicarbonate of soda contained by it (about 1tsp for a full glass) - the bicarbonate will help neutralize your system which due to inflammation becomes a bit acidic. And drink lots of river to help flush the system. Taking vitamins A,C andE will help as they are antioxidants, and C alone has antihistamine properties.
