Afraid to budge to sleep after severe allergic criticism (anaphylaxis) quicker today?
Today I had a severe allergic reaction (anaphylaxis) and I don't know what caused it. I've never have an allergy to anything before in my life except a bee sting when I be a little kid.
ay, I really dont know what the cause is, thats of late a theory.
The ER staff said if I took benadryl instead of coming in to the hospital, I'd probably be dead right very soon.
I was covered in hives and my face be completely swollen like the elephant man.
And my mouth and tongue had just started swelling when I get there. They said my throat would've been next.
Im really afraid for my 9 month old. I verbs that I'll have another anaphylactic episode and die. I'm worried that she might have an allergy and I'll discover it after feeding her something unknown and she'll die.
Are these normal worries to have after something like this?
Can I die contained by my sleep? I have pins and needles all over my body randomly tonight, could that of late be from the medication?

Answers: Look it could have been any of the things you mentioned, so throw out the milk & pizza.
yes you are completely middle-of-the-road to worry, you have had a shameful shock, chances of it happening again probably never again.
You sound resembling you are in shock, so try and calm down and if possible speak to a robustness professional who will try and rest your fears.
You could be allergic to dairy.
Or maybe something happened to the milk and some type of bad article got in and contaminated it.
Maybe the same happen with the pizza.
Avoid weird foods for a couple of days. Write down everything you can mull over of that were ingredents in those two iteams. Avoid them all and rob that with you to the Dr. Eat basic foods, and although that happened, don't be afraid to put away! Ask your GP for a script for an epi pen (or two)Having those will make you feel LOADS better, because they will save your go if used in time and correctly.
Those worries are normal, and they never really leave. You enjoy to be careful now, but once you lose that cautios side, is when mistakes happen. It does carry easier though, once you find out your trigger, and learn how to avoid it by reading labels and calling ahead before you progress out to eat.
assuming that since this is an older question, that you slept for a moment at least. I know after I had a reaction, I be so tired from the meds that I fell asleep before I got home! Also, they pump you full of meds, so a relapse is pretty rare, although the symptoms may later a bit ( hives, feeling weird around your mouth)

Since you received Benadryl (probably 25-50 mg by injection), you be still in the beginning phases of a severe allergic reaction. In my humble feelings, luckily you were not having a full blown anaphylactic shock yet - which can lone be treated with a large dose (1mg) of epinephrine and this is when your cardiovascular system shuts down and it's fairly difficult to reverse that (just resembling in real traumatic hemodynamic schock - as in bleeding to departure etc.).
In any case, you should have received some anti-inflamatory and steroids to prevent your body continuing to do harm to you to the over-reaction to doesn`t matter what you reacted.
t was suggested to you, consult with an allergist to find out what may be the offending agent and be prepared for "the subsequent one".
Death is not only always a possibility for anybody, but a certainty. Such an experience can be traumatic and adjectives you can really do is talk with close family or friends or a professional to find some nouns. You will also find great relief if you educate yourself about everything you can find more or less your condition, what to do against it, how to protect yourself etc. Good luck and stay healthy!
