All my enthusiasm i ate egg..immediately im alergic! im 35 yrs outmoded!?
i am 35 yrs old. i had an allergic reaction to something almost a yr ago. go to dr and tested allergic to egg and nuts....... (skin prick test)
oided hard boil egg at first...a few months. but last week i broke out existing bad. my eye became swollen......my face red and hives contained by my inner legs...also my mouth became real chapped. went to dr he claims its from egg.
ok so very soon i am willing to listen as i wasn't willing before. but its so tough to come to terms with being 35 and NOW I HAVE TO AVOID IT??
end night i forgot and had a hamburger from fast food place.......forgot nearly mayo. and broke out in rash..... face get a bit red. but the hive was between my inner thighs....... and belly. its weird.
know anyone who became alergic to egg at my age?
how do i live without egg? i know i have eat breads..they have egg in it? how does one sample what they can chomp through and not eat. i know bread is ok for me (i think) just proteen egg white like that 100% or contained by high doses......... its all new to me. comfort
Answers: It can happen. My sister be diagnosed with lactose (milk protein) alergy at age 25.
the rest of your life you're going to have to read every sign on every can, jar, or box before buying or opening it. Just because something was undisruptive last week doesn't mean it is now! Ingredients obtain changed regularly without the packaging changing (but the inventory must be law remain correct), especially for preservatives and fillers.
Most bread is indeed safe for you, it's just flower, river (or milk), and yeast. Glazing almost always contains egg though, as do pancakes, many pastries, pates, etc. etc.
Effectively it will mean you can drink a lot less prepared foods, will need to spend more time cooking yourself from fresh ingredients.
n't know how severe yours is, but beside my sister it's so bad she gets violently in poor health if her meat was cooked in a pan that be just wiped clean to remove butter residue. The molecule constricted film that remains behind is enough to enjoy her in bed for days.
But hers is a severe case. Most people only have to take care to not obviously ingest large amounts (so if you like eggnug, too bad).
other get a 2nd opinion. keep a food diary, avoid the trigger food, transport benedryl & your epi pen at all times, see an allergist, read labels, and avoid processed foods.
Yup. I'm 42...and I became allergic to eggs, just this year. Also Nuts, that was 5 years ago, and I am still allergic. No second view needed. Just look at the results you got from eating it. You CAN Live without eggs. You enjoy to look for products that are deemed Egg Free. If you are only allergic to the yolk of the egg, it will be a lot easier for you. If it's the unharmed egg, you will have to avoid it all together. And yes, you can get food allergies at Any Age.
I didn't devlop my nut allergies until I turned 20. I know it's hard to revamp a diet, BUT you HAVE TO DO IT. Avoid it adjectives because the more you expose yourself to it, the worse your reaction WILL get. Mine started with an itchy lip later my throat swelled shut one night because I kept eating it.
Get a epi pen if you don't have one however, and avoid egg. It's hard at first, but it's that or illness/death.
