ALCOHOL ALLERGY! help out!?
I think i drank wayy too much on my friends party. Im only 17 and it be my first time to party that hard. I drank like 5 martinis, 7 shots, 6 gianas, 2 other drinks and i aligned in this drinking game where we have need of to drink several mixed drinks that were placed in this very long tube. In conclusion I be sooo wasted last night and i come home feeling sooo nauseus. I suddenly woke up becuase my body was itchy all over. When i looked at it my body be pinkish and there where wite spots on it!! I OBVIOUSLY FREAKED OUT and searched it online. i seriosly thought it be some major skin disease but found out that it was only alcohol allergy. But in a minute i cant stop itching NONSTOP!! HELP ME!! ive learned my lesson. D:
Answers: Alright, well it is highly unlikely that you are allergic to alcohol, because your body produces a small amount itself. Now, what you own is a really bad hangover. You could have had an allergic spontaneous effect to something that your drink was mixed with or something that what ever alcohol you were drinking is fermented from (i.e. you're allergic to wheat and most vodka is made from wheat). I don't know exactly what you be drinking, but sometimes drinking large amounts of wine has been prearranged to cause a large skin rash. So, you're not allergic to alcohol, you only have a bad hangover.
Now, this in no course means you can ever drink that much again. If you drank all that you said you did, you probably had alcohol poisoning, and purely because you weren't unconscious does not mean that you didn't have alcohol poisoning. Really, I don't consideration if you drink, but don't be an idiot about it, I don't like seeing people your age within my ER.
