How did the peanut allergy attain so doomed to failure contained by times past decade or so?

Back in the 80's when I was in arts school PB&J was a staple for most students in class.
days, you can't even have it on your breath when you distribute your kids to school in the morning and there are so abundant rules to follow about what type of snacks to bring..

Forget about sending anything home made! It gets sent wager on unless it specifically says "nut-free" on the package ...which makes it rock-hard to decide what to pack for lunch for my son who will be starting Grade 1 next year...

As for snacks for your 1st grader, order candies for him from peanut free planet or vermont nut free choclate. Both are great nut free sites that will ship quickly...I get adjectives of my snacks and nut free granola's from there! They have bulk stuff to send contained by for birthdays or snack too!
there be an interesting article about this several months ago, that peanut allergies seemed to be more geographical, in that the hysteria by mothers contained by same neighborhoods/schools seemed to have kids with a superior incidence of "unproven" peanut allergies and what truthfully emerged is that it isn't any higher than anywhere else. more urban hysteria. go to nationaljewish.org and turn out 2009 news or more info on peanut allergies. they study it there. I have a son with a natural life threatening peanut allergy that has been medically proven by both a blood test and the skin audition. Please don't believe that moms are making it up as suggested by another answer!! :)
No one knows the reason but one theory is that we are simply too verbs and are immune systems are backfiring on us. Peanut allergies are more common in the US, Australia and Western Europe but are almost unheard of surrounded by less developed countries.
ow it is hard for you as a parent without a peanut allergy to business deal with "peanut free". My parents go through it when they watch my son! It probably seem like more of a nuisance than anything I am sure! :) But, for us, it is an every day unease. 1/1000 of a piece of a peanut is enough to kill my child in a event of minutes. It can be in anything, even fruit snacks.

I actually have a enumerate of peanut free candy on my website that I designed for children and parents with peanut allergies. I have information about living beside this allergy, an animation (more will come as well as music videos for kids), and news articles (but some are markedly sad as it is about children who passed away at school or within the mall from a bite of something that was contaminated. www.judethedude.com
