Allergic to Armour thyroid?

Hi there,
ink I had an allergic spontaneous effect to armour thyroid... I started getting itchiness, localizes or radiating patches of it on my body and especially my scalp, neck, ears, nose, eyes. The edges of my ears and the stern of my neck were really itchy and my eyes felt itchy, liquid and puffy...it felt like they were closing up somewhat... markedly swelling...

Also itchiness inside my ear and popping... lots of popping.. some balance disturbance... then last dark, after taking Benadryll I had a hard time breathing and a headache...

I DID go to my doctor, and after he saw how disturbed I was by the situation he discontinued it.. he required to keep at it a week longer...

I thought I had some weird disease or something so yeah ... started freaking out...
ay, the itching is smaller amount today (I didn't take the Armour) so I'm thinking it was the Armour and not a strange incurablle disease....

What are your experiences with Armour?

Did you try Nature-throid, the hypo allergenic version or thylomar (synthetic)? Did the allergy reappear?

Just wanted some further confirmation and reassurances. I do not want to return to Levoxyl.... for the first time surrounded by over a decade I felt normal and like me again... except for the itching... I'm 29 and enjoy been on synthetic T4 like Synthroid or Levoxyl since age 12.
k you for your input!
Answers:    Perhaps you are and perhaps you are not allergic to it. You may be react to one of the fillers, and switching to Naturethroid may solve that. However, it might be a wise idea to have your adrenals properly tested/treated until that time you go back to a synthetic T4 drug. This might be 'adrenal'...
Here are links to adrenal information that you may find useful:

I hope this help
I take Armour and have not had any problems next to it; but that does not mean that you cannot be allergic to it.
