Adults who munch through their own snot!?

Now i know that this happens, coz i always seem to see empire digging away in their nostrils when i'm stuck in a que on the motorway, and it's not just men, i see pretty young ladies at it, and yes, after having a good verbs, i seen them inspecting the goods before popping it surrounded by their mouth!
see, i can understand kids doing it, but adults?
Now, don't be shy, you can be honest, and tell me your thoughts on this, and you snot eaters, feel free to share your experiences, no ones going to know.

My daughter did it once in the last week or so and I gagged! Shes singular 2.
i think its their habit thats why they cant stop doing it...
Umm okay GROSS Iv never done it and not about to.
