Why do I wheeze while running?
For the past two weeks, I start my run with a brisk walk, next after push it up and start running. After around 6 minutes of running I start panting and wheezing, so I stop and rest for 10 mins.
some reason after 10 minutes the wheezing gos away, and I am able to run again without any problems.
What is the problem next to this?
Do I have asthma?
Answers: Exercise-induced asthma is a growing issue for young athletes around the world. When I was 14 and contracted the exact same item, it was fairly rare. But I spend 13 out of the first 14 years of my time in the two most air polluted cities of the day - Denver and LA. 4 years into living within LA, I contracted asthma. It started the exact same way.
ntially your lungs are having a response to what is in the atmosphere. You should check and see what the airborne ozone concentrations typically are in your area and avoid outside exercise during these period. Heavy particulate - diesel, etc. - contained by the air is also an issue. If you live near a desert, mild silicosis can provide the trigger, so you shouldn't run on windy days.
The scientific definition of asthma is smooth muscle constriction in the bronchials that reduces the speed with which you can exhale. This is measured via "peak-flow" meters. Inflammation and mucous production isn't other associated with asthma and can sometimes be a totally different issue than smooth muscle constriction.
Long term, you should really look into supplementing with Omega-3 fatty acids, moderate fried foods, dairy, and beef. I could get into some really deep stuff here, but essentially Omega-3 will tend to reduce inflammation contained by your cells, while the fried foods, dairy, beef will increase inflammation and make an attack worse than what it should be.
