1 month dated query?
had a baby on march 29th weigh 8 lb 3 oz. she left the hospital at 7 lb 15 oz 2 days later..... on 4/13 she had a checkup and be 8 lb 4 oz. yesterday on her 1 month bday i weighed her and she was 8.8 lbs. this past week she have been complaining every night from 8pm-12am until she falls asleep. her tummy hurts and when i make her legs turn back and forth she quiets down, and has lots of gas. in the hospital she be on enfamil lipil (gold label) and then shortly after i put her on gentlease (purple label) when her fussiness and gas started i switched her to lactofree, and i also got her mylicon drops. my question is, isnt her freight gain slow?? shouldnt she be around 9 1/2 lbs?? is this due to her formula and stomach issues?? what formula should i stick to? i am on wic, so i need enfamil....speaking of, lactofree is getting discontinued, so im gonna have to switch to something else in roughly a week, but she does seem better on the lactofree and the mylicon. what should i switch to? i called the doctor, and im waiting for a call posterior....please help with your suggestions on her weight, stomach issues, and formula!

Answers: ask your doctor something like celiac disease. or maybe she is just allergic to it or she is lactose intolerant. hope this helps God bless-livie
I go through this exact issue with my son and ended up at the pediatrician week after week until he noticed that my son have acid reflux.This was after Nestle Good start, and Nestle Soy milk both caused crying and uspet stomach and eventually vomitting. He be then prescribed Alimentum by Similac which WIC covers when you have a prescription from your child's doctor.
