Drainage surrounded by the fund of throat....dont wanna take sick?

I woke up today with that semi burning drainage feeling in the rear legs of my throat.....im hoping its just a allergies or something and wont do anything that it is already doing and just go away contained by a couple of days...but then i don't want to end up getting a chest cold or something stupid....anything you do or know about that can slow this down or prevent it from turning surrounded by to a sickness be for it really hits?? Drink O.J.?? take some kind of preventive medicine? Oh by the course... no my nose is not really stuffy and i have no other symptoms
