Can an allergic impulse rob 2+ days for any response at adjectives?

I tried new foods in a special ceremony. It was a four course buffet on Tue. April 28, 2009 and I began getting small itchy hives on Thursday. I have no idea what else could enjoy caused it, but why would a food allergy take so long to react?
Answers:     yes-it can take up to a week sometimes-my brother had a repercussion after about 6 days.
It can take that long... indistinguishable thing happened to me a few times and it makes it thorny to find what your allergic to. I would see an allergist so they could test you for anything your allergic to. Source(s): The queen of allergic reactons.
This brand of allergic reaction isnt the typical "anaphylactic" type reaction. It's called "delayed hypersensitivity response."
a different type of immune response that takes hours to days to develop. We tend to describe these reactions more as "sensitivities" than classically as "allergies."

Cannot confirm that your case specifically is a delayed hypersensitivity to something you ate at the ceremony, but I can confirm that sensitivities approaching this are actually really common!
thats importantly unlikely cause ur food gets digested in a daylight so u would have already went to bathroom and food would be outta ur system so its pretty much impossible to be foods check new clothes conceivably material
It can happen like that. I have seafood on a Saturday, and the following, and 3 days .later I had hives. By Friday I was at the hospital.
I would be surprised if it took that long for the reaction to start.
