Am I allergic to Kiwi?

so when i was little, i ate Kiwi all the time i'm just wondering if you construe i am allergic. whenever i eat it, my tongue starts tingling and then it hurts a lot and cant drink anything for a while cause of the pain. well in a minute i haven't eaten them for two months but thanks!
Answers:     If your tongue hurts that bad that you can't chomp through for a while, I'd say stay away from kiwis!
that's weird that you used to eat them adjectives the time when you were little though. it doesn't run in the family does it? because my unbroken family (basically) is allergic to cats, and i never had a problem with cats until one time, i be at my friend's house and playing fetch (haha lol) with her cat and i got a huge hive on my arm.
and get the same way with fresh pineapple. It's not comparatively as bad as what you described, but yes it is a mild allergic reaction. I still eat it though, cuz it is scrummy. :)

And it isn't weird that you used to eat it but you can't now. Allergies can develop over time as you win older. Sometimes going through puberty causes new allergies too. That's how it be with my seasonal allergies (still don't know exactly what I'm allergic to). Allergies can also go away over time, so something you were allergic to as a kid, you might know how to eat now.
whenever i eat kiwi's my toungue hurts too...
i think its because of the brown portion. i know for sure that im not allergic so i dont think you are either.
Hi. I focus you have oral allergy syndrome (OAS) is caused by cross-reactivity between proteins in fresh fruits and vegetables and pollens. Source(s): http://allergies.about.com/od/foodallerg…
same
You might be allergic.
the kiwis you ate sour or something? Coz when I eat really sour stuff heaps my toungue hurts...
I hope I helped :)
Sounds like you know how your body react to things you have had a problem with. Knowing what you know presently, avoid those foods that have a high citric acid content. Soft soap, though within a different category is basically the same thing...even if you enjoy used it for years, it doesn't make any difference...you are allergic to it now. How allergic to that will be defined by what happens to you when you use it.
