Answers:    GO TO YOUR OWN DOCTOR AND ASK HIM OR HER
ou are having hives surrounded by an ongoing manner the best doctor type to go see is an allergist. See if there is one surrounded by your area that deals with hives.
There are abundantly of combinations of antihistimines and other medicines that they can work with until they find a combination that works to control them. Doctors generally aren't tremendously good at finding the cause of the hives. Mine went away after 10 years when I go on a gluten free diet. My hives were controlled by claritin in conjuction with serevent or advair formerly that. I have a friend whose hives are controlled with singulair and doxepine.
Good luck
Doctors wouldn't know how to take care of hives even if an angel descended upon them with the cure within hand. They'll say it's psychological, those bastards.
hives can be caused by different things. My hives when I was small would start if I ate peanut butter. They would start on my fingers and toes and spread until they met around my stomach and next go away.
hat could be considered child abuse .my mother let a training Dr take me to the hospital and feed me peanut butter so that his interns could watch my hives come and shift so I guess mine were somewhat unusual. I still remember how bad they itched.

My girlfriend gets hives from individual stressed and antidepressants help.

theres usually no cure for many allergies, avoidence is the best you can do
an anti-inflammatory medicine like Benadryl allergy works for me.
I've had hives several, many times. It could be from something you ate, detergent, soap, stress, etc. The best thing to take is Benadryl. If that doesn't sustain go to the doctor. When benadryl doesn't get rid of my hives I have to get hold of a shot of adrenaline. Good Luck
