Am i allergic to cats? Please backing!?
I have lived with cats for a part of my go and i had no problem with them. unfortunately, a few years ago they passed away. Then lately recently i went to an animal shelter with my friends to bring some of the dogs there for a walk ,play with them ,ect ect. When we go into the cat room I had a sneezing and coughing fit the whole time and my eyes got a tiny bit puffy.
Before that, at my friends house i be petting their cat and i rubbed my eyes and then my eyes got red and really puffy. At that time i thought it was simply because some car fur got into my eyes and its not an ALLERGIC reaction but presently, after the animal shelter,i'm not sure.
allergies they can happen and develop any time in natural life.
If you do have cat allergies it's mild.
Go see an allergist; they can test you for different allergies and see exactly what you're react to, and advise you on what to do to cope with what you find. If you want to have another cat, you can repeatedly get shots or build up a gradual exposure to damp down allergies, for example. I am mildly allergic to cats myself, but get used to the exposure to mine: I individual get symptoms if I'm away from them for a week or so... then I get to suffer for a couple days until I'm accustomed to them again.
It was not until these recent times that the cause for having cat allergies is discovered. People thought it was the cat’s hair. Perhaps what is cause the allergy is in the cat box, or maybe the small flakes dislodged from the cat’s skin. But they could not have be more wrong. The reason for a cat allergy and the reason why a person suffers from cat allergy symptoms is the saliva of the cat. The cat, as you may concentration, loves to clean itself by licking its body. The cat would probably do this many times a day and once an allergic creature gets near the cat, then adjectives those allergy symptoms would manifest themselves.
ou no longer live with cats it doesn't seem approaching it would be a problem if you developed an allergy to them. But, if it bothers you there is medicine you can take to save your allergic reactions to them down. Try seeing a doctor about it.
I am allergic to cats.. and i have the exact same symptoms
however, i own a cat
if i pet the cat, i dont put my face on her
i wash my hand after petting her
go into an area where at hand are lots of cats i have a horrible time .. my eyes will even swell up a little
long hair cats grant me a bad reaction too
if you know your going to be around some cats you can take some benadryl first .. also remember to other wash your hands after touching them
It may be the cleaning products or dirty room minus windows.
Perhaps its the type of coat the cats had. Some cats have shorter hairs than others. Another possible explanation is that your allergies rework every seven years I believe. I used to have the worst allergies to outdoor allergens and not they don't bother me as much.
