Why do my hand itch?

I am a pensioner, I have high blood pressure and high cholesterol and enjoy recently been diagnosed with type II diabetes - adjectives of which are well under control with medication and diet. However what is driving me nuts is my hand, They keep itching, not constantly, but often enough to grain like it sometimes. The sensation affects both fronts and backs of my hands, between my fingers and stops at my wrists. in that are no signs of any sort of rash. Should I be concerned? is it something I should bother my doctor with? Or is it my medication/s
Answers:
Hello, this sounds like dermatitis, my husband get this and he said it drives him nuts! I know this probably sounds gross but he gets my thrush/virginal cream and massages it into his hands and it clears up surrounded by a few days, i guess because its an anti-fungal Cream?

Hope you sort it out :)
Maybe you could mention it to your GP. It could be an allergic reaction to some kind of medication, but it's something I suffer with, but I found out what I'm allergic to. Hope you obtain it sorted soon.
