Allergic to dogs - Am I human being unreasonable not wanting to live next to a dog?

I’m highly allergic to dogs - to the extent that I’m on high steroids in covering I pass a dog in the street (although I tend to cross over if I see one coming).
I now cannot go outside in the garden when it’s nice nor swim contained by our pool. I have to take my clothes to the laundrette to dry as we don’t have a dryer as out clothes draw from dried outside (which obviously I can’t do as the dog brushes past all the clothes). My relatives eats outside and so I have to eat on my own within my room. I can’t have my bedroom window opens as I start swelling up when I do.

Yesterday be my 16th birthday and I was told I couldn’t to have a pool party approaching normal because of the dog. I was hoping they were newly pretending and had arranged for him to leave for the day but that didn’t appear. Instead they kindly organised a BBQ and whilst all my family and friends sit outside in the sun eating I was stuck inside on my own.
ve tried discussion to my parents and they just say they can’t make my brother grasp rid of the dog as it’s not fair on him and to stop complaining as it’s not in the house.

I’m really upset about adjectives this as it feels like this dog comes before me. Am I person completely unreasonable?
Answers:     Your parents are totally wrong. This is a health issue. if you were individual mildly allergic then you could just take an over the counter on a daily basis dose of antihistamine like Zyrtec or Telfast, but the fact that a doctor is pumping you full of steroids indicates that it is a more serious allergy.
your doctor to talk to your parents, receive sure he explains to them clearly the extent of your allergy and what could happen if you did have an episode.

If they do not listen to reason you should christen child services, because making you live with what is basically poison to your body is out right child abuse!

AND your brother is an IDIOT or must hate you to bring the dog home within the first place! Like the previous poster said I would not go about this quietly if I be you, I'd follow my brother around asking as loudly as I could so the neighbors would hear "are you trying to kill me? Do you hate me that much? What did I ever do to you?" I'd leap out and yell those question when his friends are around, to the point that he can't bring any friends home! I'd point at him accusingly and yell "you're a bad brother trying to murder your sister! The dog it is poison to me!" and then dramatically feign release on the nearest sofa. I would torture him about it at every opportunity I got!
(because I too suffer allergies and they are NOT FUN!)
Well you need to talk to them again. They don't enjoy to get rid of the dog they can just put it in a doggie morning care while you have activities outsides such as swimming.
This is one of the worst examples I've ever come across of short-sighted, negligent parenting when it comes to pets, and I think they should be ashamed of themselves. Its incredibly inconsiderate to imperil the health of one child of late to treat another child to a pet. Even if the dog doesn't come inside himself, his hair and dander will be blown in or tracked in by relations and set off your allergy. And what will they do in the winter or bad weather, tolerate the dog suffer? No, they will bring him in the house!
"it isn't fair to your brother" excuse is pure crap. He brought home a dog knowing of your allergy, which wasn't fair . . . why does fairness just apply to what he wants?

I'd call your doctor who prescribed the steroids and ask him to talk to your parents roughly speaking the dog, so they can learn that their plan to just have the dog contained by the yard is just stupid. I'd also make them buy expensive nouns filter systems for your room so you have someplace safe to breath. And, any time I had an allergy attack from the dog (or any other reason) I'd product sure they suffered with me by sneezing and coughing wherever they were, I sure as heck wouldn't suffer surrounded by silence. They made this problem, they can suffer through it along with you.
Your life sounds as if your in prison I feel sorry for you I preference I had a solution. Sorry
you can catch allergy shots. bichon freize dogs are hypoallergenic.
Not carnival on him!? That's ridiculous! He shouldn't of even taken that dog home when he new you had terrible allergies, I regard as that your parents are being stupidly unreasonable and cruel, how could you do that to your own child? If they get rid of the dog, your brother willl eventually get over it. I cant believe they tolerate him have it in the first place, knowing about your allergies.

You are not human being unreasonable, you sound like the only sane personage there!
Unfortunately, now that your parents have allowed the dog, likelihood are they won't get rid of it. You should try allergy shots, which "might" allow you to be able to be around the dog. If that does not work, I recommend that you talk to your parents almost it again, if they still neglect to do anything about it, call and report them, they are endanger your health and well being by allowing the dog to stay around.
You definitely obligation to talk to your parents, that is unhumane, to you!!
