Is at hand a track for my dad to lessen his allergies towards cats?

Hey guys I am moving and we are going to completely redo all of our furniture and stuff and make our home brand up to date. My dad considered getting a cat to welcome to the house, yet he is badly allergic to cats. Is within a certain breed of cat or some ways to stop or weaken his allergies? I am a big cat person and owning a cat will be awesome if in attendance is a solution to our allergies than we can get the cat if we cannot stop his allergies or weaken them than we cannot get the cat. He doesn't want injections and would consider pills so what can we do?
Answers:    there are no temporary measures to control the allergies towards the cat. Medicine enjoy to be taken to suppress the allergy as long as there is a flare up.
