Is my mum allergic to sugar?
my mum asked me to research it
every time she eats something sweet like sweets or biscuits she has a really desperate stomach ache she was wondering if shes allergic to sugar?
Answers: it sounds resembling she could have maybe a wheat or lactose intolerance. she should go to her GP and he/she will do some test to find out. it's easily controlled by changing her diet.
Probably not, as im sure she would have notice at some point in her life before very soon, but she may have a low immune system that can no longer cope with the sugar in her body, try with the sole purpose eating the smallest amount a day. Or go to the doctor as it may be diabetes ?
Does she eat indisputable sugar or sugar alternative? A lot of people have allergic reactions to spurious sugar like aspertame, sucrose, splenda, etc. The reactions range from manager ache to vomiting. Has she tried to not eat anything with sugar for a interval of time and see if it's something else she's eating that's making her sick? Maybe if it is real sugar, trying an alternative may solve the problem? The only means of access she may be able to find out is if she bit by bit cuts certain food out of her diet that she things could be the issue and then slowly adding up them back in.
