A correct medication for minor grass allergies?
Well ever since i have been into tackle football, i discern after practice that my arms and legs are very itchy and have red 'blobs' or 'spots' all over them. Also, i tend to sneeze and own itchy eyes sometimes.
Thanks!
Answers: Try popping a claritin an hour or so before your football practice and see if that helps.
Almost any grass will bring itching if you rub, roll, etc on it. For the sneezing and itchy eyes, you can take anything with Loratadine in it (like Claratin or Alavert). Stay away from the Benadryl since practice or you will be drowsy and perform poorly and then be off the troop!
When I was in high university I was allergic to my high school's football field for 2 weeks. It be weird.
benadryl for the sneezing and itchy eyes. If you can't tolerate benadryl because it makes you too sleepy, try claritin. It's not as much of a "quick fix" resembling benadryl is, but if you take it in the morning it'll make a difference.
For the hives (those red blotches), try using benadryl cream or hydrocortisone cream.
Claritin is good but my doc prefers zyrtec over claritin. You could have your mom call your doctor they probably own a better suggestion.
Good luck**
You are probably allergic to all grass, but to make sure, lay in the grass at different field or at home. To combat your allergy try drinking mangosteen juice. It has helped my son near his allergies. Source(s): www.researchmangosteen.com and www.mymangosteen.com/mrmrsl
