Allergic impulse? Whats cause this?

I woke up with big itchy red spots on my legs, feet, bottom, and hands. I dont guess they are bites. My hands are red and sore, and numb too. Any ideas? We used some new soap could it be that? I am going doctor tomorrow, a moment ago thought I would ask to see if this has happened to anybody else.
Answers:    This sounds like hives. Your doctor will probably distribute you an antihistamine or Prednisone. He may also do allergy testing (blood tests and/or skin tests).
