Allergic sensitivity to hours of darkness time meds?

So I have been battling a sore throat for weeks. I first thought it be strep because I had seen some white specks. It turned out that it was not (comfirmed by ER nurse) Anyway, prior to going into the ER I have taken some night time Tylenol cold and flue stuff (the liquid is blue) I woke up this morning with rash all over me and swollen lips. I should say this is the third time this have happened. A few years ago I took Nyquil and the same reaction occured but far worse than the symptoms I own at this point. The doc at the ER just gave me the go ahead and merely monitor the rashes myself...my question(s) has anyone had this develop to them before and what could it be in the medicine that I may be allergic too
Answers:    It is indubitably possible to be allergic to any medication. Actually, you could be allergic to the medication that is supposed to make you feel better or anything else surrounded by else in that is in it (including the coloring). Since you own had problems with more than one brand, you are likely to be allergic to something that they enjoy in common. Since these medications are similar, within are likely to be many things that they have contained by common.
would need to see a doctor and be tested to find out what you are allergic to. They do scratch test on your skin and look for reactions to show up. Once they find specific things that you are allergic to, then you know what to avoid. They can also tell you how to contract with the reactions when they occur. Some reaction are mild but can be very annoying (skin rash, for example). Other reactions can be serious, potentially deadly.

For now, avoid any of the medications that you have have trouble with. Only an allergist can advise you on this issue.
