Last dark i get really sick...i do enjoy allergies and tried singulair. I get a fruitless cough, really unpromising?
nasal congestion and i felt like I had a hallucination. Could've this been a side effect of singulair or just my allergies?
Answers: That is not a side effect of singulair. It sounds to me like you've get a viral infection. Do you have aches and pains, and do you feel tired or frail? If so, you may have the flu. Cough and fever usually point to the flu, although usually nasal congestion is not an issue, it can sometimes present itself. If your symptoms don't improve or start to shift away within a week or so, I would go see your doctor.
ou haven't got fearful aches and pains, then it is likely a cold. This make more sense with the nasal congestion, as a stuffy nose and cough are common next to the cold. Sometimes a person can have a low-grade fever next to a cold, which may have been what you experienced. You should take your warmth just to be sure. If you have a high confusion then it points more towards the flu.
In the meantime, the only thing you can really do is save yourself hydrated and try to rest. If you notice that your sinuses start to hurt really badly, and you have throbbing in your face, nose, and forehead, consequently you may have a sinus infection, in which case you should budge to the doctor as soon as you can, because you will need an antibiotic. Also, if you start coughing up a lot of mucous or notice that the mucous contained by your nose is dark yellow or green, this may also be a sign of a bacterial infection.
Keep wash your hands regularly so you do not spread it to others around you. It is also a good idea to seize your flu shot every year and have everybody in your family do so.
Hope you grain better soon. Nasal congestion and fever are not generally side effects of singular. You may find on a website that it may list those as a side effect, but these websites commonly list a lot of things that are not necessarily side effects of a medication, but rather lately things that have been noted in some patients who enjoy taken a medication.
