Allergic spontaneous effect to kind up, or amoxicillin?

So I started taking amoxicillin for acne about a week ago. And just a few days ago I wore this heavy white and black clear up for two days for a musical at my school. I broke out in this rash on my collar and upper chest which seems to be spreading.
so which is it, the amoxicillin, or the make up?
Answers:    Most likely the amoxicillin. You can become allergic to anything at any time. You never counter to a substance, the first time you come in contact. Your body has to produce antibodies after exposure. The other bad report is, it will get worse every time you are re exposed.
Amoxicillin is a slightly modified penicillin and penicillin allergies are VERY common.
Problem is, anything is possible. I seem to be allergic to deeply cold water, both in lakes and pools. Source(s): Pharmacist for 30 years
It really could be any. Sometimes you can take a medication as a child but develop an allergy later in time. However, it could just be from the makeup. I'd call your doctor either track. They can instruct you on what to take for the allergy (Really, benadryl will help whether it's an allergy to the meds or makeup) and to be safe, they can prescribe you a different antibiotic, of late in case it IS from the amoxicillin.
