4 year matured son diagnosed next to wheat allergy?

My 4 year old sons pediatrician had my son take a routine series of allergy test. The tests taken from blood samples. The wheat allergy test come back positive.
uestion is, do we absolutely hold to take wheat out of his diet? He's been eating wheat his in one piece life. His pediatrician said that while he may not have a severe reaction or walk into respiratory shock, the wheat could cause other things like sinus congestion and perhaps ear ache's or fluid astern his ears (which he currently has).

Another question I have is whether or not there are other test and if the test he's taken is really accurate. We have cut wheat out of his diet until we get more information. As I mentioned above, he's eat wheat his whole life and never showed any overt problems.

They recently have discovered, children near peanut allergies can still have peanuts and be okay if under the supervision of their doctors would take a vastly small bit of it and built it up to about 6 peanuts and take it every day. If they miss a daytime the allergy would worsen again.

I don't know if taking something your body reacts to, may stress the body and create other problems. I would however, seriously consider not removing it from your sons diet, as there is no observable allergy and wheat is in everything and he might winde up next to a serious reaction if given it and through not having it for a while has no tolerance to it.
