Does Ultram and Hydrocodone enjoy like peas in a pod chemical makeup?

I ask because I am severely allergic to Ultram (hallucinations and severe itching) but I can take hydrocodone. I still itch with that one but can usually either tolerate the itching or hold an allergy medication to stop the itching. So if they aren't the same but have one chemical that is matching that I am allergic to why can I take one but not the other?
Answers:    Ultram mimics a light codeine, it is not hydrocodone, hydrocodone is a controlled substance. Ultram may become a controlled substance someday, but more people are allergic to it, and it is smaller number addicting to most people. I'm one of the few people who actually approaching ultram but then I'm allergic to real codeine.
