Allergic allergic reaction to prescription ?
I caught a cold and I decided to take Robitussin Cold and Cough medicine. A few minutes after I took it I started coughing, my eyes started to itch/water, I started to itch everywhere, my throat feel tight, and I sneezed a lot. After 10-15 min everything started to calm down. I don't know if it was of late an allergic reaction to the medicine in broad or it was expired but I've taken it before and I haven't had any problems. Can someone please narrate me what happened ??
Answers: You must have had an allergic allergic reaction to it. I wouldn't take it again if your throat felt tight, that's for sure. You need to keep hold of children's Benadryl liquid on hand in valise that ever happens again. You can take something one time and have no problem, but, if it cause a problem the second time you take it, avoid it forever. There's no telling why we develop certain allergies to reliable things, but it happens.
