My daughter have cramp after allergy shot?
I gave my 7 yr old daughter her allergy shot today and now she is complaining wise saying she can hardly stand on her leg because her hip hurts so bad. She is a very sensitive girl...so it is sturdy to tell how bad it really is. Is this normal? This is the first time I give it to her in the hips...usually in her arms...which are also pretty sore for a couple of hours. This has be for several hours now...should I be concerned?
Answers: Have you tried giving the allergy shot in her legs(above the knees,be careful and don't inject the shot into any blue vein wherever you give it).I give mine within my arms and they will hurt sometimes just a little and my husband wants me to present his in his stomach because they make his arms so sore.I wouldn't give anymore contained by her hip,any kind of shot always hurts me there.I would have a chat to her allergist about what to do.These are just my suggestions.Good luck.
