Allergic to Bio Oil?? 10 pnts?
Hi. I think I'm allergic to bio oil, but I really need to hang on to using it. See, I have these 3 white flat scars that make me look similar to a cutter. Unfortunately, whenever I use Bio Oil, I get an itchy red rash that's bumpy. It doesn't bother me, but I know that it isn't supposed to do that.
y question is, will the Bio Oil still work resembling it's supposed to if I keep using it despite this reaction.
The label say to discontinue use, but aren't they just being safe?
THANKS!
Answers: This "itchy red rash that's bumpy" is most likely hives. If you verbs to use this treatment for your scars, you may develop and even worse allergy to it, causing you to have a worse response. This could be bad for your health, which is why they say to stop using it if you bring a rash. Vitamin E works well, and so does cocoa butter. I would say alternate between the two day after day. (As in, use both daily.)
Hope this helped! :)
