Why do I gain ear infections from jewelry made of metals save for gold ingots?
Usually with artificial earrings I get infection. But when comes to gold, it have never happened as far as I can remember. Does anyone know the science/chemistry behind it? What causes infection? And why doesn't gold ingots cause infection?
Answers: I have the same thing. I can simply wear gold too! As soon as I put any other kind of earring in my ear burns resembling crazy.
Gold is a rare metal near a stable chemical property. It is not easy metamorphosed as other metals, so it doesn't cause infection even long-time wearing. Meanwhile it can maintain its shape near a good visual value.
