Lactose intolerance? Able to put away milk products but not milk?

Basically my problem is that I really don't like milk, I wasn't even breast fed. Even the smell of it makes me grain sick, and I have to be careful not put too much in my tea, otherwise I would throw up. I don't drink milk contained by its pure form, but I eat loads of milk products, such as cheese and yogurt. They don't make me sick at all so I find it unexpected that I can't consume milk just by itself without having to vomit and touch nausea all the time. So I was vondering if that makes me lactose intolerant?
Answers:    Yes, you probably are. I am lactose intolerant, but I can still guzzle cheese, yogurt, ice cream ect. Some of those products have the enzyme lactase, which neutralises the lactose (which is causing your problem). For me it started when I drank a cup of milk and got about 2 seconds away from throwing up. My direction is to talk to your doctor and try some of these products.
aid milk (it already has lactase in it)
lactaid pills (gets rid of the nausia from dairy)
soy milk (no actuall milk, made from soybeans)
and......dairy free products

No, if you were lactose intolerant, you'd be having bouts of diarrhea every time you ate a diary product.

You just don't similar to milk.
