Can allergies which irritate the eyes ever front to a stye?

If so, will they always progress to a bacterial ( staph ) infection, or can I possibly have some success near clearing this up with warm compresses before it get to that point? I could not find this info regarding the allergies; thanks.
Answers:    Not that I know of.As you said a stye is an infection where an allergy is a different impulse.Warm compresses can soothe the eyes, but so can cucumber slices.It all depends on what your body reacts to.Since you already know you have allergies ask your doctor.
