Adrenal fatigue since puberty?

I am in my 30's and have been tired since puberty. My doc have always said despite a goiter, my thyroid is in normal selection. It really got bad when I was pregnant at 20yrs. I gain 100lbs despite no change in eating. I am 5'1 and my daughter come out nearly 10lbs. She has had issues with solidity and had radioactive iodine due to graves disease. Now she is way underactive! I wonder if I may have thyroiditis since puberty undiagnosed and my problems own caused my daughter,s. Every woman in my family have under or overactive. Despite being 210, I have really low everything. Blood pressure 90over60, sugar 65, cholestorol 112combined. My potassium is low though. I enjoy had gallbladder removal and a tumor on my rt. Ovary removed and horrible infection from these surgeries as well as the c section contained by 92. I need help for myself and daughter. We are tired of being tired!
Answers:    Uh-oh...
ne deficiency can cause both hypO and hypErthyroidism.
Radioactive iodine is used to DESTROY the thyroid gland.

Ok, I strongly suggest you become a member of these 2 Yahoo groups: "thyroidless" and "iodine". Here are the address:

Unfortunately, far too many doctors assume a thyroidless human being can do well taking a single hormone synthetic thyroid drug.
Unfortunate for those patients...their bodies will still require "ALL" the thyroid hormones surrounded by order to function and survive. The only type of thyroid replacement that works well for this is 'desiccated porcine thyroid', brand name Naturethroid, Armour, Thyroid-S, Thyroid (by Erfa), etc. This type of thyroid repalement is basically a "thyroid gland in a pill".

I had my adrenal glands removed due to a pituitary tumor causing my adrenals to overwork and that caused Cushing's Disease. I am watching and starring your examine as I have had sudden weight gain. My pituitary tumor atrophied after a bilateral adrenalectomy. I enjoy all the symptoms of hypothyroid, except work is just within common range. I understand how you might feel frustrated and I hope you find answer soon. Source(s): Endocrinology problems impressively frustrating.
