DO I HAVE BREAST CANCER?
today, my left breast hurt, so i ws poking it to see how tender it was. then i feel a lump below and a little to the left of my nipple. when i compare the two, this left breast is visibly warmer than my right, as if i have an infection. the lump does not seem to be affecting my skin, so it is not an ingrown pelt or something, the lump is too large. the lump a little smaller than an olive. please help! I don't know if breast cancer runs within my family, and i don't have someone to ask who would know. please help!
Answers: No one online can tell if you cancer, we're not there next to you. Stop being silly, there's obviously some cause for alarm. Go see a doc.
GO YOUR DOCTOR...don't throw away time finding the answer here...you defiantly have something, the doctor need to do other exam to see if you hold breast cancer for example blood test, but those lumps are not normal, unless you are about to own your period. Source(s): www.kaiserpermanente.com

I see from your Q&A that you're 14.
The likelihood of breast cancer at your age are close to zero. If you did have breast cancer your case would be written up surrounded by medical journals the worls over because its EXTREME rarity would make it of enormous interest to doctors
.
When I be diagnosed with breast cancer, I was classed as 'young'; I was 50.
Most breast lumps, even contained by women over 50 aren't cancerous; and most cancerous breast lumps don't hurt - the vast majority of those diagnosed with breast cancer have feel no pain.
American Cancer Society and other cancer organisations recommend that women begin breast self-examination at the age of 20. Before that age changes are so frequent and the risk of breast cancer so low that self-examination is pretty much pointless.
What you describe is almost undeniably hormonal; your breasts are still growing and developing.
Oh, and breast cancer very rarely 'runs within the family'; only 5 - 10% of all breast cancer cases are hereditary
Just because you quality the lumps necessarily means you got cancer. It is probably just a lump that may be corrected by medication or surgery. Consult your family doctor as soon as possible!
You could have a cyst, which is sort of normal. Do shift to the doctor, but try not to worry, there are a lot of things it could be besides cancer.
