Can anyone please let somebody know me what a Gleason rack up is?

My uncle was diagnosed with prostate cancer and is being kinda anything about it. All I do know is that he has a gleason score of 7 and have been feeling sick for 4 1/2 years before dealing next to. What does this number mean? Thanks
Answers:    The Gleason score is provided by a pathologist who looks at the tissues from the biopsy of the prostate. The score is supposed to indicate how aggressive the tumor might be. The hypothesis is that a more aggressive tumor should be subjected to more aggressive therapy.
ore of 7 is one of the most common score, so it is neither good nor bad, really.

The link I am giving you is pretty quantifiable, but you can get a general idea even if you aren't science-oriented.

I hope this help. Source(s): http://www.prostate-cancer.org/education…
