What role has research played on the discovery, and treatment of skin cancer?
- Surgery
-Mohs technique (The cancer is removed little by little and checked under the microscope immediately. The removal continues until only in good health tissue remains. )
freezing technique called Cryotherapy.
- Imiquimod (A cream that destroys the skin cancer by stimulating the body’s immune system to fight the cancer. )
