Question in the order of an ultrasound on a thyroid?
I know I can't have the definitive answer until my doctor calls me in two days, but I have a nodule on my thyroid and they had it ultrasounded today, the tech seemed very concerned and discoloured a lot of spots on the scan (one around one inch around) that she marked with the apparatus. She also asked me halfway thru if I had a history of thyroid cancer.My boyfriend said if it was something main they would have had called a doctor to come down right away... but I'm still really worried, is that commonplace procedure for an ultrasound?

as if they see any spots that they see to make it easy-er to tell
what is near.
And tell your boy friend they do not always call the doctor to come
