Ideas for fundraisers for cancer?

I want to do something for the people with cancer. I feel really strongly almost this, in the past I have come up next to ideas and never put them into action. I am only 14 yrs infirm but I really want to do something to help.
ed ideas from you guys around fundraisers or anything else that I can raise money for. I also need to know how to get these things sorted or how to capture people involved, any information that I can use to actually put these ideas into dealing and raise money for the cancer patients.

Please help me, I feel really strongly more or less this and want to help people.

Thanks in finance xx
Answers:     Since your young, I would suggest visit planetcancer.com they are aimed more at the younger crowd, just join in near their efforts, instead of trying to start something from the ground up. It's less hassle that way, and you still seize the benefit of helping out. Also marathons and walks are fun, they keep you in shape, and are great opportunity to raise money.
Bakesales, post a memo in the local newspaper asking for donations, acquire together with your teachers at school to make out to the community with your ideas. Involve your school here is power in numbers. Mow peoples lawns and tell them that you are raising money for this drive and have an adult present with you when you budge door to door for two reasons, one so they know you are not fibbing know you are serious and two so you are safe, going door to door currently can be risky. Also, i think it would be a wonderful idea to have respectively and every person sign a paper recognizing their hearfelt contributions. Best of luck, you own a good heart and this is a wonderful idea.
First....thank you. So young yet already thinking and putting other people contained by need before yourself. That's awesome.
, I actually made up a fl yer promoting Brain Cancer Awareness fund in May. My husband had stage 4 brain cancer, and unfortunately of late passed away from it on 7/14/09. So I would raise money myself for the City of Hope Cancer Center (was his hospital), by making up a quick flyer promoting cancer awareness. I'd find the cancer ribbon logo on the internet, cut it and paste it, print the flyers out on photo serious newspaper. Went all around to the police dept, fire dept, local stores, friends, family and work...and posted up my flyer's.

Did pretty well near the donations collected, and you can always go to places or people that know you. They are credible to donate.
