Answers: Pixar brought over a DVD for her to watch as well as some other things for her. The mother did not know what the movie be about but thought that the title "UP" was significant especially since she knew her daughter be going UP to heaven.
mother commented that the Pixar Executive who left after the movie was over (and took the dvd next to him) had tears in his eyes when he left.
The little girl died then that night after watching the movie.

The animated movie begins with scenes showing the evolution of a relationship between a husband and wife. After losing his wife contained by old age, the now grumpy man deals beside his loss by attaching thousands of balloons to his house, flying into the sky, and going on an adventure with for a moment boy.
With her daughter’s vigil planned for Friday, Lisa Curtin reflected in the order of how grateful she is that Pixar – and "Up" – were a part of her only child’s second day.
“When I watched it, I had really no perception about the content of the theme of the movie,” said Curtin, 46. “I just know that word ‘Up’ and adjectives of the balloons and I swear to you, for me it meant that (Colby) was going to move about up. Up to heaven.”
Sadly, but not surprisingly, she died. But she did get to see the movie.
