A dutiful friend of mine is diagnosed next to Stage 4 cancer. Is it possible that it may be benign?

Doctors don't know what type of cancer it is yet. All we know is that it is around stomach-liver area.
y for not being competent to provide more information.

I am looking for something to be more hopeful although I'd appreciate honesty.
Answers:    No, I am sorry but there is no benign cancer. If they own done a biopsy then they will likely start treating your friend according to the diagnosis as soon as possible.
As others have said, at hand isn't a benign cancer.
that, I can say that I was diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma a couple years ago. With chemo, I am very soon well in remission with a relatively angelic prognosis. So, though the road will not be easy, by any means, there is some hope for your friend.

Hope to read an update contained by several months saying that your friend is looking forward to a full recovery. Source(s): Personal experience.
If they have called it cancer, then miserably it can not be benign. However, if they have called it a tumor, then this could be a benign mass. As much as I know you do not want to hear this but as they hold given it a stage 4 classification, it is more than likely to be cancer.

I wish my answers to your question could be different, as I am sure you do too, but do not lose hope.

I choice you and your friend all the very best
