A friend have breast cancer she is 40 and its surrounded by her lymph nodes give an account me please?
They told her her cancer is aggressive and it is rare and they have yet to start chemo because they do not know how to best attack it, what are her likelihood? If its in her lymph nodes?
Answers: I be 49 when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. There was some lymph node involvement, which is usually considered to be Stage II. That be 5 years ago. I underwent a partial mastectomy, chemo and radiation. I had my regular mammogram 4 months prior to finding the lump and it was totally clear.
friend should run a very active decision making constituent in how her cancer is treated. If the doctors say they don't know how to treat it she should get another belief! If she was just diagnosed, sometimes it takes a few weeks or months back surgery or chemo will start. I was diagnosed in May, had surgery within late June and started chemo 6 weeks after the surgery. Sometimes chemo is done first to start shrinking the tumor(s).

Breast cancer isn't rare but it is aggressive and very hard to cure. Are you sure that your friend have breast cancer and not a different form of cancer? Alot of cancers spread to the lymph nodes because the lymph nodes travel all over the body. It does mean that her cancer have spread but everytime that my partner has had chemotheraphy, it has flushed the cancer out of the lymph nodes inside the first couple of cycles. Your main concern should be where the tumor is or where the cancer started from.

I can report to you that my breast cancer was aggressive and had spread to 13 lymph nodes; I had surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy and hormone treatment and five and a half years after diagnosis I'm well with no sign of cancer at my check-up contained by January.

as far as her likelihood, no one knows except the good lord above. i hold cancer that started in my breast and spread into my lymph nodes. i was diagnosed in 2006, it have metastases into my bones and bone marrow found in april of this year, and now in my 4th stage. but my cancer they enunciate is a slow growing cancer. its like a hurry up and wait thing when it comes to cancer treatment. you want them to hurry up and do something and it seem as if (when ever) before they begin to treat cancer. don't worry everyone feel the same way it took them 2 months before they started chemo on me the first time. upright luck to your friend and i will keep you both in my prayers. god bless Source(s): cancer patient

Hello, my wife had a totally aggressive cancer that had spread to three lymph nodes. She was triple negative and have done 15 weeks of chemotherapy and then had a total bi-lateral mastectomy.
