hey i'm 16, and i think i've had breast cancer for 4 years, i've been upset to tell anyone because I was only a infantile age when i discovered it, i was 12 years old. I didn't know what to do when i first felt the lump, it's get worse now and I keep thinking to myself, This cant be happening to me.. but i'm sure it is, i've researched it alot and i'm 100% sure i enjoy it. It's got worse, as its changing colours daily, I'm only just so scared one day i wont wake up, I love my domestic dearly and I know it would kill my mum, dad and 3 little sisters. I don't know what to do, 4 years seems alot.. and I'm afraid It's too late.. this might be my closing year i think to myself, I'm living everyday as a fear, someone give me warning, I'm too scared to tell my parents.. but i don't want to break their heart. It's yellow where on earth my nipple is and quite bumpy too, (additional info) Please help, sorry for this being so long
ks,

Answers: Honey, you have to see a Dr. It's very unlikely to be cancer at your age. If it was, i'd doubt after four years next to no treatment you'd be here.
Please, please talk to someone!
I think you need to shift tell your parents, most likely your mom since she has the anatomy close to you. Tell her what you be aware of and whats happening to you.
e your only 16 its most likely not cancer, but it could be something else, so don't lurk any longer and talk to someone.
I hope that helps. Please take peoples guidance.
Why did you repost indistinguishable question? Anyway, same answer from me:
If you really have done research, you'll know that breast cancer is almost unheard of in lower than 25s, and fewer than 0.1% of all those diagnosed are under 30.
When I be diagnosed with breast cancer I was classed as young; I be 50.
he EXTREMELY rare occasions when young girls are diagnosed next to breast cancer it makes worldwide headline news, and is written up in medical journal across the world.
Most breast lumps, even in women over 50 (who make up 80% of those diagnosed) are not breast cancer.
Truth to tell, Noirin - and I don't like wise saying this - I'm finding this whole story a little hard to swallow; it's the 'colours' item that really made my BS detector start beeping.
If you're really concerned, talk to your mother; if you don't feel comfortable doing that, gossip to your school nurse - she will be used to girls having worries like this and will know how to reassure you that you don't have breast cancer.
Or go to see your doctor - you're in the UK, it won't cost you and s/he'll see you inwardly two days. But somehow I don't think you're going to do that...
i truly believe you haven't got cancer, cos if think you've had it for 4 years next you would be seriously ill by now, so just see a doctor it will most feasible be a cyst
Go see a doctor might be a case of merely fluids building up but it could be cancer
Please, please talk to your mother. You need to attain this checked out by your doctor. Don't wait any longer. My thoughts and prayers are with you..
If you had breast cancer discovered 4 years ago, you would have massive problems by now. I deem you have something else going. see your doctor and have it diagnosed. Perhaps the problem is located a bit higher, articulate above the shoulders.
Tell your parents, but see a doctor separately. Don't ask them to come with you or anything like that because if, as you say, it would break their heart, you might not want to put them through thinking it just might be cancer. Also, when i was about 11 or 12 i thought i have breast cancer because i had a lump. It's been a year and i still do and i have told my mum. She said i be being stupid and shouldn't worry at my age. She wouldn't take me to the doctor or anything. So parents aren't other the best. Because how would they know? They aren't professionals.
