People with cancer, or know someone with cancer. Do you believe that if you fight, the accidental will be greater, than if you just gave up?

No. There is no evidence that this is the case, it's simply a fuzzy feeling many people own - usually, in my experience, people who haven't had cancer.

Have a look at this report contained by the British Medical Journal which explodes the theory that a 'fighting spirit' is associated with longer survival from cancer or that 'hopelessness and helplessness' mechanism poorer outcomes. The researchers analysed existing studies from1979 onwards; their conclusion is:

-pretty much exploding the myth that a 'positive attitude' can affect the course of or probability of survival from cancer.
I suffered from depression during my cancer treatment; people urging me to be positive made me feel guilty, and therefore worse, because I purely COULDN'T be as positive as people were urging me to be.

I always voice I didn't fight my cancer, my doctors did, and they did a bloody good job. Over five years after diagnosis beside an aggressive advanced cancer I am fit and well and incomplete remission, with no sign of cancer at my last check-up
Studies enjoy been done and a positive attitude/fighting spirit does not increase your chance of surviving cancer.
rsonally believe it does clear the treatments easier to take!
People should always save going, its always worth it
I think if people try rugged, keep strong, and think of all the right stuff in life and blank out all the denial problems that get involved with our lives, then they can survive!
