There is a point at which religion has to stop. And that point is when a human life is endangered. That's when society through the courts have to say "enough!" Neither the Magna Carta, the American Constitution or Canada's Charter of Rights give parents the right to endanger their children's lives. My parents get us vaccinated for everything they had vaccines for. They knew up close what polio, small pox, tetanus etc, be. Now I feel old telling relations about the last polio outbreak in my town (1959).
as for religious groups. I've have to deal with some in my go. Most of the time I respect their beliefs but not where the endangerment of human life is concerned. After all the fourth commandment is "Thou shalt not execute."
You are wrong; medical reports show that his chemo DID shrink his tumour and that his tumour has grown since chemo be stopped.
He is a learning disabled child who cannot read, and he has been converted by some crazy cult that he is a medicine man and a healer and a religious elder.
This is a child who have been manipulated, used and lied to; the leader of this cult have promised that the alternative cancer treatment he is now taking is 100% guaranteed to cure him. He does not appear to be capable of understanding how under the weather he is.
If he has chemo he has a 90% chance of cure.
pe they find him. I hope when they do some charges of attempted murder are brought - I simply hope those charges don't have to be of actual murder.
Parents have a duty to their children; if they neglect or endanger their child, that child should be removed from their fastidiousness.
They are saying that it is against the religious beliefs. I don't know, how could you NOT want your child to get hold of some kind of help?/ Beyond me!!
