A doctor's feelings please...?

when i was in the shower, i felt a lump close to my armpit. but im solely 15. what should i do? i cant speak to my parents about it.
Answers:     why can't you speak to your parents about it?
nything they'll be worried if its serious.

You won't know how to tell what it is, unless you get examined by a doctor. it could be a cyst, or a cancerous lump, an infected gland. all sorts. its best to catch your mum and dad to take you to the doctors.

should touchtone phone your GP's surgery and make an appointment immediately. It is perfectly okay to ask to see a womanly or a male doctor specifically if you feel more comfortable with any for a physical examination.

They will check the lump and be able to tell you what it is. Although cancer can be a possibility when you enjoy a lump, a lump in your armpit could also be a cyst or a boil caused by a blocked sweat duct or similar.

You do not have to be accompanied by a parent to see a GP at your age, and they will not breach your confidentiality over routine appointments.
I get them, it can simply be a gland
Hi darling,

Shaving, infection on surface of the skin, use of antiperspirants as opposed to deodorants, abscess under skin,viral/bacterial infection, normal breast tissue extending to side, hypersensitivity to vaccination, benign cyst.

Is it just a lump that you can feel or is it noticeable?
here is anything else you would like to share about it a short time ago email me and I will help you all I can.

Love Mel.X
It could be number of things such as an ingrown hair, a cyst or an enlarged lymph node. Often lympn nodes can swell up when there is any infection surrounded by the body.

All the very best to you
It could only be a cyst, lymph node that is swollen or an ingrown hair.
Maybe if in attendance is a school nurse, you could have her check it out.
Sometimes it can just be a plugged mane follicle from shaving (you don't say if you are male or female), but males and females both can get breast cancer. It is irregular at age 15, but you need to talk to your parents or see a doctor either style anyway.
