About cervical cancer?

i was told over a year and a half ago that i had mild HPV. i haven't be checked since march 2007. i have a certain odor coming from down near and i don't know if my HPV has gotten worst. im very scared. im solely 20 years old. i have been sexually helpful for the past 4 years. i want to have kids in the fundamentally near future. but im afraid that if my hpv has gotten worst that i wont be capable of. can someone please tell me how i can tell it has gotten worst. i don't hold any medical insurance or a job so its very hard for me to turn to the doctors. my boyfriend thinks i have genital warts but i dont. so ow can i give an account if im in serious trouble?

There are things that can be done to prevent genital warts from being passed on when the mother gives birth. Such as have a c-section if there is an out break at the time of delivery. So if there is NO outbreak after no need for c-section!

You need to move about back to see your doctor. I think you're a little confused on the medical stuff. HPV is not mild or severe, it's any there or it's not. What you're probably referring to is cervical dysplasia, which is a pre-cancerous condition. It is frequently caused by HPV (the virus that causes genital warts). Many ancestors have HPV, but most don't have the warts that are associated next to it.
